SUBMISSION POLICY

All papers submitted to IV?18, whether for review or publication upon acceptance, must be written in English and formatted in the standard IEEE two-column format provided on Papercept website: http://its.papercept.net/conferences/support/page.php.
Note: US Letter Size and margins are required for the final submissions.
Papers submitted to IV?18 must be original, not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and they must not be submitted to any other event or publication during the entire review process.
Submissions must be made electronically through The IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society Conference Management System: http://its.papercept.net.
For the purpose of "review", all regular/workshop/special session papers are limited to eight (8) pages. The decision regarding the acceptance of each paper is at the discretion of the conference's Technical Program Committee.
For "publication" in the conference proceedings, all accepted papers are limited to six (6) pages. Authors may upload longer manuscript up to a maximum of eight (8) pages in total. However, each page in excess of six (6) will incur an additional charge of $100 USD.

REGISTRATION POLICY

Each full registration will allow the author to upload one (1) paper.
Student (reduced) registration does not allow paper uploads.
Authors with multiple papers must pay at least one full registration. Each further paper can be uploaded for a reduced fee (half of the full registration fee).

PRESENTATION POLICY

The Conference Program will indicate the format of your paper presentation (Oral or Poster)
If the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors listed on the paper must attend the conference and present the paper according to the schedule decided by the conference's Technical Program Committee.
In the event that the presenter is unable to attend the conference for any reason, it is his/her responsibility to ensure that the paper is presented by a qualified colleague. Otherwise, the paper might not be included in the conference proceedings.

POSTER POLICY

DIMENSIONS: The authors will stick the posters to the wall in the poster session rooms, which is suggested by the hotel. Please print your poster on A0 size defined by the ISO 216 standard. Make sure that your poster is oriented in a ?portrait? format and does not exceed dimensions of 90 cm wide and 120 cm tall (approximately 35 in wide and 47 in tall). Note: In portrait format, the poster will be taller than wide. An adhesive tape will be provided at the conference to mount your poster to the board.
ORGANIZING YOUR POSTER: The title of your poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters about 25mm high. Below the title, put the author(s)? name(s) and affiliation(s). The flow of your poster should be from the top left to the bottom right. Use arrows to lead your viewer through the poster. Use color for highlighting and to make your poster more attractive. Use pictures, diagrams, cartoons, figures, etc., rather than text wherever possible. Try to state your main result in 6 lines or less, in lettering about 15mm high so that people can read the poster from a distance. Make your poster as self-explanatory as possible. This will save your efforts for technical discussions.
Please put up your poster during the break before your session starts. Your place for the poster is indicated with a number corresponding to the number of your paper in the session. Take down the poster immediately after your session ends. A presenter must be present at your poster during the entirety of the session. If possible, more than one author should attend the session to aid in presentations and discussions, and to provide the presenters with the chance to rest or briefly view other posters.
